WrestleMania weekend is big for the entire pro wrestling business as other promotions will hold events in addition to WWE as well as former wrestlers coming into town for meet and greets with fans.
Fightful Select reports WWE had tentatively planned for the NWO to be a part of WrestleMania weekend as the group would do a promotional spot for the new WWE 2K22 game. The group is the cover athletes for the most expensive version of the game. WWE Hall Of Famer Scott Hall had also been booked for WrestleCon during this weekend as well so he would’ve been in town anyway.

Hall passed away earlier this month after being taken off life support following three heart attacks two days before. He was originally hospitalized for a broken hip as he had fallen at his home and later had complications from hip surgery.
As of this writing, it’s unclear whether WWE still plans on bringing in Kevin Nash, Sean Waltman, and Hulk Hogan for WrestleMania weekend. The legendary group was inducted into the WWE Hall Of Fame as part of the 2020 class last year because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
