WWE brought SmackDown to Nassau Veteran Memorial Coliseum in Uniondale, New York tonight. The May 6th edition of SmackDown saw different segments and matches in the buildup to WrestleMania Backlash.

WWE also tried something different with SmackDown’s commentary team during tonight’s SmackDown. Several fans took to Twitter to show a video of fans in the arena hearing commentary on speakers during commercial break.
The voices of Michael Cole and Pat McAfee were heard in the arena after the match between Sasha Banks and Shayna Baszler went into commercial break. The voices stopped playing in the speakers as soon as the show returned from break.
WWE is known to experiment with technology to improve production quality and in-arena experience. It seems that the company used the go-home edition of SmackDown to test new things.
