Unemployment in Aragón at the end of October 2024 has increased by 1,126 people compared to September, so that at the end of the month the region had 52,049 registered unemployed in the public employment offices, an increase of 2.21% per month, according to data published this Tuesday by the State Public Employment Service. They are, on the other hand, 1,010 less than a year ago1,010 less than a year ago, a drop of 1.9% compared to October 2023.
By provinces, registered unemployment has risen in all three provinces. At Zaragoza with 696 more people registered (1.75 % monthly). At Huesca has risen by 207 people (2.98%) and in Teruel 223 (5,38%). At year-on-year comparison it has fallen in all three provinces.736 in Zaragoza (1.78%), 196 in Teruel (4.29%) and 78 in Huesca (1.08%).
On the other hand, in the whole of Spain unemployment has increased in October in 26,769 people1.04% monthly, although, in annual comparison, was reduced by 5.70%, with 157,350 fewer unemployed people.. The figure stands at 2,602,054 registered unemployed.
