The newspaper “El día” publishes its latest issue on the Aragonese anniversary of November 3rd.



The outstanding Aragonese ephemeris of the day recalls that today, November 3, 1992, the last issue of “El día”, an independent Aragonese newspaper, is published.. This newspaper was born on May 28, 1982 and obtained its capital stock through popular subscription. It was the first newspaper in Spain to use computers in its edition, thus marking a milestone in the press world.. Many well-known journalists today began their careers writing in the pages of El Día de Aragón.

The newspaper was noted for its opinion and collaboration section.where prominent representatives of culture, the Church, politics, trade unions and the economy, among others, participated. In addition to the regular issue, three supplements were added: the “Cuaderno de Educación” on Thursdays, the “Fin de Semana” on Fridays and the excellent “Cuaderno del Domingo” on Sundays.as a culture and entertainment supplement.

During the first months, the Sunday supplement “Antena”, produced in consortium with other newspapers, was added on Sundays. However, in July 1983, it was replaced by the “Semanal El Día”, a self-made supplement with color covers. The newspaper also published “El Punto Deportivo” and had a presence on Facebook.
