The Good Brothers appear at NJPW Wrestling Dontaku in Japan

The Good Brothers are back in NJPW as they appeared at Sunday’s Wrestling Dontaku event by attacking the Guerillas of Destiny.

After Tama Tonga won the NEVER Openweight Championship from EVIL, Karl Anderson and Doc Gallows hit the ring to attack Tonga. This led to Tanga Loa coming out to make the save for his brother, but was beaten down. Karl Anderson held up the NEVER Openweight Title, an indication he wants the next title shot. He gave the gun stun to Tonga on the championship belt.

In February, The Good Brothers faced The Guerillas of Destiny back at Impact’s No Surrender event where Jay White turned on Tanga and Tonga, which allowed The Good Brothers to win the match and rejoin the Bullet Club. Guerillas of Destiny were officially kicked out of the group.

After being let go by WWE in 2020, Anderson and Gallows have worked for Impact Wrestling as well as AEW and NJPW Strong, the United States brand of NJPW.

This marked their first appearance in New Japan Pro Wrestling since 2016 when they left to join WWE with AJ Styles.
