The mayor made a good decision early in the morning when the DANA arrived in his town. “There is a high school next to the river and they decided to suspend classes first thing in the morning,” explained Pastor.
“The river overflowed and rose three meters and something,” the mayor recounted. “The councilmen and I were talking since 07:00 hours, we were just saying that it was raining a lot, but nothing foreshadowed this barbarity“, he recalled.
