The Military Emergency Unit (UME) was one of the first corps to be mobilized in the crisis generated by the DANA which has plunged despair in the province of Valencia.
After five days of non-stop work, they are beginning to be seen emotional scenessuch as the one shared by the EMU itself on its official X profile (the social network formerly known as Twitter).
A photograph shows a corps member hugging a woman at the door of one of the garages affected by mud and mud in the town of Massanassa.
“After five days of intervention, yesterday UM Corporal GomezE, a resident of Massanassa, was able to go to see his family, also affected by the floods,” the corps wrote.
“Bernardo, thank you very much for putting the mission before everything else. and many thanks to our families for always supporting us,” concludes the message, shared this Sunday morning.
