Coming to you as the ninth rendition in the Two Minutes To Late Night series entitled Hardcore Forever is a cover of innovative metal and hardcore pioneers Starkweather‘s track “Tumult”, which originally appeared on their record Crossbearer from 1994.
Nailing down Starkweather‘s early sound that was a melting pot of Celtic Frost-like riffs and tempos, strange dissonances and clean vocals, sprinkled with mid-late 80s NY crossover, are Brian Fair (Shadows Fall, Overcast) on vocals, Domenic Romeo (End Reign, ex-Integrity) on guitars, Mike Stack (Dying Breed) on guitars, Travis Stone (Pig Destroyer) on bass and Charlie King (Bloodlet) on drums.
