Sex Bob-Omb’s next gig is streaming on Netflix. The platform has unveiled the first official teaser for the upcoming anime series Scott Pilgrim Takes Off, which reunites the cast of the 2010 cult film Scott Pilgrim vs. the World.
Like Edgar Wright’s action-comedy we all know and love, Scott Pilgrim Takes Off follows our titular everyman (Michael Cera) as he pursues the technicolor-haired woman of his dreams, Ramona Flowers (Mary Elizabeth Winstead). But of course, Scott first has to defeat Ramona’s seven evil exes, including Gideon Graves (Jason Schwartzman), Lucas Lee (Chris Evans), Todd Ingram (Brandon Routh), and Roxie Richter (Mae Whitman).
Along for the ride are Scott’s roommate Wallace (Kieran Culkin), his bandmates Stephen (Mark Webber) and Kim (Alison Pill), his sister Stacey (Anna Kendrick), his unlikely friends Julie (Aubrey Plaza) and Young Neil (Jonny Simmons), and his jealous ex-girlfriend Knives (Ellen Wong).
The eight-episode series premieres on Netflix November 17th, and you can watch the teaser below.
