Residents of a Malaga neighborhood denounce that a group of drug addicts has taken over the streets: “It’s surreal”.

The streets of a neighborhood of Málaga have become one of the most insecure places of the Andalusian city and, therefore, this Monday, the neighbors have wanted to denounce the situation they have to face every day.

A group of drug addicts have decided to make the streets of the neighborhood their own. Malaga making the neighbors have to face a real ordeal. This Monday, a team of Let’s see has traveled to the site to get a first-hand look at the day-to-day life of the local people.

Thus, the neighbors have denounced that the picture of finding people taking drugs in the street has become something, unfortunately, common in Malaga: “From early in the morning you can find drug addicts taking drugs, even inside the building, in the garage floors.“.

In addition, there are also clashes between consumers and, therefore, noises that make coexistence difficult: “It is dangerous. If my grandchildren come, my son-in-law has to go down and get them because this is surreal“.

We have a harder time in the evenings because of the people who come here.more than because of the girl”, explained another of the neighbors, who added that “as (the drug addicts) have no routine, they use yours”. Likewise, one of the neighbors has added that, one day, was walking down the street and they threw a melon at him.an aggression that, fortunately, remained an unpleasant anecdote. For his part, another citizen has pointed out that “a little further up the stairs is a traffic point”: “They break everything and, on top of that, there is not just one, there is more than one.. They have clients here, easy, there are a lot of foreigners”.

Finally another of the neighbors has explained that, when they contact the police and the agents arrive on the scene, they can do nothing because there is no illegal activity taking place when they show up, a reaction to which this neighbor has responded, “Of course, they are not going to start dealing in front of the police.“.
