Police Investigating Pro Wrestling Death Match For Going Over The Line

Pro wrestling at indie events can sometimes get out of hand and those who are involved naturally have to face the consequences. A pro-wrestling in the U.K turned so brutal that police had to get involved.

A wrestling event in England saw a bloody match between two participants. The bout between the fighters turned so intense that the pair left the entire ring and ringside soaked with blood. The two beat each other using lightbulbs and weedwhacker as well.

Ronnie Thatcher and Blizzard headlined the said match. The wrestling match was held by the Colliery Championship Wrestling org. at the New Seaham Conservative Club in the U.K.

The match was advertised as family-friendly, so the kids were in attendance as well. At least 80 people were in audience for the brutal fight. Police have launched an investigation into the matter.

The organizer of the match faced massive backlash when the clips from the event found their way to the social media. The showrunner, James Brass said in an apology that the escalated match didn’t go as planned.

“Things can sometimes not go to plan,” Brass said. “Obviously there was a little bit more that went down. I spoke to the two guys afterwards. We had discussions and obviously that will not be happening again.”

The local police spokesperson said the authorities have launched an investigation into the matter. “We are working with Durham County Council’s licensing team after a number of complaints were received by the local authority in relation to an event at Seaham Conservative Club on April 29.” We’ll see what becomes of this investigation real soon.
