Nacho Cano denounces that he was “surprisingly” assigned to the same judge investigating Ayuso’s boyfriend

The defense of the producer Nacho Cano has denounced that the judge was “surprisingly” assigned to the who also instructs the proceedings against the partner of the president of the Community of Madrid, Isabel Díaz Ayuso.

This is stated in an order of the judge of the 19th examining magistrate’s court of Madrid, and that includes the complaint of Cano’s defense, something that “would be violating” the ordinary procedure guaranteed by law.

The order states that according to Nacho Cano the police report delivered to the Plaza Castilla dean’s office “it was not digitalized, it was delivered on paper”. and a “direct delivery to the 19th Court of Instruction of Madrid, the same one that surprisingly instructs the proceedings against Ayuso’s partner and the one that “was waiting for the police actions of the Leganitos Police Station”.

Moreover, according to the producer on the day he was arrested, and this was later published in the media, “it was already known which court and which magistrate was going to be in charge of the investigation of the case”.

“In this way, our right to the ordinary judge predetermined by law would be violated. If the official of distribution of the dean’s office of Plaza de Castilla distributed the case to a Court that did not correspond, is a perfectly accreditable action through a computer expert,” said Cano’s defense.

Before the accusation, the judge María Inmaculada Iglesias Sánchez has notified the Ministry and the rest of the parties so that they may present their arguments within a period of five days.

“In view of the serious accusation that is being made in the document on the application of the rules of distribution of cases between the Courts of Instruction of Madrid, in violation of the right to the predetermined judge by distributing the case to this Court of Instruction No. 19 of Madrid, please inform the Dean Court of the appropriate effects,” he concluded.
