The President of the Generalitat Valenciana, Carlos Mazónhas replied to Teresa Ribera with the statement “enough of manipulations” and revealing a cell phone message from the vice president in which she told her that they were “pending and concerned” and asked her about “anything” to help.
This answer from Mazón responds to the statement of the third vice-president and minister for Ecological Transition and the Demographic Challenge, Teresa Riberathat the afternoon of the DANA cost him “up to four calls” to locate the Valencian president.
In his reply message on his X account, Carlos Mazón has stated: “Enough of manipulations. This SMS, at 20:20h after sending the alert and without coverage in the CECOPI. That is what happened”.
In the screenshot attached as evidence can be read verbatim: “President, I am Teresa R. We are pending and concerned. The president of the CHJ is concerned but handling with maximum caution. Marlaska and civil protection on it. Aemet following evolution. Tell me anything we can help with“.
But Ribera’s version is different. “It took me up to four calls to locate Mr. Mazón”, revealed the vice-president in declarations to the program Hora 25 of Cadena Ser, where she said that the secretary of state warned her that “the situation was very critical”. and immediately tried to talk to Mazón.
“He told me something like it was going well, but this afternoon everything has been rushed. Excuse me, I’ll call you back in 10 minutesNow I can’t talk and logically he didn’t call me back,” said Ribera.
Ribera has assured that they had all the information and that he is concerned to what extent in the face of “such a serious alert, someone may consider it not relevant or that it can wait.”
The vice-president defended the functioning of the autonomous State and wondered that the question “is not whether the autonomous State works or not”.but “whether Mazón works or not or whether Feijóo agrees or disagrees with what Mazón does”.
