Martín Berasategui and David de Jorge give Pablo Motos the ideal menu for this Christmas season

The couple of chefs Martín Berasategui y David de Jorge visited El Hormiguero this Wednesday to introduce you to Pablo Motos his new recipe book, Cook and conquerwhich goes on sale on November 14.

The book is composed of 80 recipes to cook and win in any circumstance and in the face of any appetite that experienced chefs have devised.

“You bring us your latest book which has 80 recipes. Choose one that you particularly like“said the presenter to his guests. “I would choose the risotto Donostiarra style with clams, if you respect the cooking time of the rice and the clams, it is delicious,” said De Jorge.

Berasategui stated that his favorite recipe from the book was “the cockle marinara with citrus mayonnaise is impressive.and we pay homage to the fishermen”.

Taking advantage of the fact that they were talking about recipes, the host of the Antena 3 program asked the chefs to to give the viewers a simple recipe for Christmas..

These are days that do not invite risk, I would say do something that you know you can do well and follow wise advice, like the advice in the book,” explained Berasategui.

First of all, ask the family what they want to eat.. There is no need to do very complicated things, which nobody wants, just because it is Christmas. If people want to eat macaroni, omelet, stew or steak, that’s fine,” added De Jorge.

The Valencian wanted to know how many calories each of them ingested: “I do a lot of sport, I love to walk around San Sebastián in the morning greeting the fishermen.. I eat a very diet food and I take good care of myself because then I have to spend all day tasting things in the restaurant,” Berasategui told him.

“Well, with me you’re going to be surprised, people see me and don’t believe it. I have a coffee and a persimmon for breakfastand today, for example, I had a vegetable cream and a perlon (white fish) with endive salad,” added De Jorge.
