Maribel Vilaplana, the Valencian journalist who had lunch with the President of the Generalitat, Carlos Mazónon October 29, when the effects of the DANA that devastated the Huerta Sur region occurred, has blocked his account of Instagram.
The name of the informant came up this Friday afternoon, when the local press revealed that she was the one with whom Mazón had been having lunch between the 3:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. of that fateful day.
According to Valencian Government sources, Mazón called that lunch to offer Vilaplana, a professional with experience in TVE and À Punt, the direction of the Valencian regional channel.
Since his name emerged, the last publications of his Instagram account were filled with dozens of comments, in some cases hurtful or offensivefor his lunch with Mazón.
In addition, Vilaplana gained around a thousand followers. But hours later, the journalist decided to ‘put the padlock’ on her account.so that only those who she allows or who followed her before can see her publications.
Born in Muro de Alcoy in 1975.she is currently the Communication and Institutional Relations Advisor of Levante UD and spokesperson of the club. Maribel Vilaplana has developed most of her professional career as a host of RTVV programs. She has also directed and presented debate and current affairs programs.
