María Patiño comes to Rubén Gisbert’s defense after getting muddy for a live show: “He’s doing his best”.

This Monday, a video in which Rubén Gisbert appears intentionally kneeling in the mud before going on live on Horizon has unleashed a wave of indignation in social networks, which has even reached the very Iker Jiménezdirector and presenter of the television program. The renowned communicator has been quick to express his disapproval of the content creator’s behavior, describing it as unacceptable and declaring that he will no longer collaborate with him in future broadcasts.

However, in the midst of the adverse reactions, María Patiño has come to Gisbert’s defensehighlighting his involvement in helping the victims. While chatting with Esther Mucientes, Patiño has made it clear that, although the gesture of the influencer may seem unfortunate and clumsy, it should not tarnish their effort in the midst of the crisis caused by the DANA.

“Esther, in any case, it is true that if what this guy says is true, in the end it is true that it is a pity that in the face of a situation that he has managed terribly, because he has manipulated a reality, he is giving his all there for seven days and I have been able to verify that it is true,” said the presenter.

The collaborator has acknowledged that the images disclosed are unfortunate and have raised various interpretations; however, she has stressed that this single recording does not reflect all of Gisbert’s commitment in the affected area.

“We look at a scene, but behind that scene there is a guy I don’t know at all, who also declares himself a political activist, and I don’t care about his ideology, but he is there at the foot of the cannon“, he said.
