Kevin Owens Wants WWE To Give Him Pyro For His Entrance

Kevin Owens is one of the most reliable workers in WWE and there’s no arguing that. Owens did most of the work in his feud against “Stone Cold” Steve Austin and helped carry the Texas Rattlesnake during their WrestleMania 38 match. Now he wants a pyro for his entrance.

KO took to Twitter on Tuesday to take a shot at WWE for giving Cody Rhodes the exclusive treatment, which includes a pyro entrance and a Cody countdown. The former WWE Universal Champion asked WWE a very specific question.

Hey, if Cody gets a countdown and 2 to 3 sets of pyro for every entrance, can I finally get the pyro I asked for years ago? @WWE

We’ll have to see if Kevin Owens gets that pyro, but it’s hard to ignore the fact that he deserves it. It’s also hard to ignore that Cody Rhodes receives quite a bit of fanfare compared to other Superstars.

According to Dave Meltzer, WWE introduced the Cody countdown in an attempt to get more eyeballs on the third hour of the show. WWE strongly believes that Cody is a big ratings draw and wants to capitalize on his on-screen appearance.

Cody will take on Seth Rollins in the third and possibly the final match of their rivalry at the Hell in a Cell premium live event next month. You can read the card announced so far by clicking here.
