Juan José Ballesta recalls his last year, disappeared from social networks: “I was finding the balance”.

In the last year, the life of Juan José Ballestabetter known as ‘El Bola’, has been altered in different ways and, now, the interpreter has decided to return to the media to promote his book, The Better Lifewhere he narrates the path he has had to follow to reach fame.

During his visit to Espejo PúblicoThe actor has stressed that he has not always been able to devote himself to his profession and, therefore, he has never forgotten that he is just another person in the world: “When you can’t get a job as an actor, you install LED screens or work as a laborer. I think this grounding is necessary. To stop, get down, bend your back and have that peace of mind of finding that balance that is being lost.”

Ballesta also wanted to thank his family, who have always been there when he needed them and, in addition, he stressed that his childhood was very different from that of other professional colleagues: “That is the price of fame and some consequences are the denunciations I have had“.

However, the price of fame is something that not everyone is willing to pay and, at one point in his life, Juan José Ballesta had to put the brakes on: “There came a time when I was not happy, I did not care about being famous and having money.. I couldn’t enjoy myself in the street”, he explained after telling how, on one occasion, he bought an ice cream that melted in his hand due to the ‘harassment’ from the paparazzi.

Also, the actor has narrated how was his sudden departure from social networks, something that worried both his fans and his closest environment: “I was in the countryside, with my animals, the press you know how they are. They said I was missing, but my people knew where I was. I was finding my balance and coming down from the peak that is altitude sickness.“.

In the same way, the actor has not dodged one of the topics that has surprised everyone the most in this 2024: when he was accused of stealing a jacket which contained 50 euros in one of his pockets and, for this, he had to spend a night in the dungeon: “I was with 40 people in a dungeon, all screaming and shouting. There were gypsies and Moroccans. They were nice to me, but these are experiences that nobody likes to go through.“.

Regarding the complaint for an alleged sexual assaultJuan José Ballesta has explained that it closed many doors for him professionally. The case is still openbut the actor is looking forward to the end of the judicial process.
