El Hormiguero received this Monday the visit of Chenoa, who presented her new single, La línea del tiempo, which will be released on November 22.
It is a pop ballad where the message focuses on facing adversity with the spirit of always moving forward: “They sent it to me from the record company, I listened to it, I loved it and I recorded it,” said the artist.
“Some time later I found out that Julia Medina, the author, was a contestant in Tu cara me suena. It is a very therapeutic song, designed so that we can all identify with it,” she added.
After talking about the subject, Pablo Motos commented: “When you were very young you were the secretary of a parapsychologist, weren’t you? Laughing, the singer answered in the affirmative.
“When I left high school, in Mallorca, I would cross the street and go to Francisco’s office. There I saw many paranormal phenomena, I know that you, Pablo, do not believe in any of this, but in my world it is all very real”, she assured.
The Valencian continued telling curiosities about his guest: “Is it true that you have a henhouse at home? Chenoa told him that “I have a little house that was an old chicken coop, according to what my neighbors told me. I want to have chickens there again, and a vegetable garden and cows… I really like the town and nature, I take everything much more calmly there”.
“You have an arrow tattooed on you and in the videoclip of La línea del tiempo you are shooting arrows, very well by the way, what meaning do they have for you?”, commented Motos.
The guest replied that “the arrows mean many things, among others, that an arrow when you shoot it cannot go backwards, only forwards. The bow in the videoclip belonged to an antique dealer and I accidentally broke it”.
The presenter also commented that Chenoa’s fans get tattoos with phrases from her songs written with her lyrics: “Which artist would you get a tattoo of?
“Of Whitney Houston, if anything, but I don’t think I would get tattoos of anyone in particular. On my wrist I have the word “imagine” by John Lennon. The one who doesn’t like tattoos at all is my mother, every time I get one she goes crazy”.
Another curiosity that the host of the show revealed about the artist was that she loved to clean: “I love it, I clean at a very, very high level. I see the dust mites and lint everywhere, I clean at any time”.
“I am a very rare person, I clean because it produces me a certain meditation and when I finish, I put some candles, an incense and I enter a state of calm,” he added.
Finally, she also discovered the element that Chenoa used to try to go unnoticed by her fans: “I have a cap with hair that I wear when I go to flea markets, flea markets…”, she said.
