Beyoncé: “I Love You, Lizzo!”

Beyoncé has thrown her support behind Lizzo amidst a lawsuit brought forth against the “About Damn Time” singer by her former dancers.

During her concert in Atlanta on Monday, Beyoncé name-dropped Lizzo in her performance of “Break My Soul (The Queens Remix).” “I love you, Lizzo!” she proclaimed.

In a lawsuit filed earlier this month, three of Lizzo’s former dancers accused the singer of sexual harassment and creating a hostile work environment.

Lizzo subsequently denied the allegations in a statement posted to social media, writing: “Usually I choose not to respond to false allegations but these are as unbelievable as they sound and too outrageous to not be addressed.” She has since enlisted the services of attorney Marty Singer, whose past clientele include the likes of Bill Cosby, Johnny Depp, and Chris Brown.

In the immediate aftermath of the lawsuit’s filing, Beyoncé temporarily omitted Lizzo’s name from “Break My Soul (The Queens Remix).” Now, though, Queen Bey appears to be fully back in Lizzo’s corner.
