The president of the Community of Madrid, Isabel Díaz Ayusohas accused this Saturday Pedro Sánchez from having “abandoned” the Generalitat Valenciana after the DANA because it has a government of PP.
This is what she said at the inauguration in Aranjuez of a conference of the Committee of Mayors of the PP of Madrid, where the president of the popular Madrid has said that in the management of this crisis “politicians have failed” and “understands” the discomfort of the residents of the affected municipalitiesbut he blamed the responsibility on the central government.
“It has been very sad to see that the government is never there when it is needed, as we experienced during the pandemic, when we were in the middle of a pandemic.In January, February and March 2020, it did nothing. although the WHO warned, and when everything exploded, he put the magnifying glass against Madrid,” he said. “I regret that people are abandoned.”
Ayuso has reproached Sánchez for not having “wanted to send the Army in time”. to help the Valencians, perhaps so that their partners in “what they call the ‘països catalans’ do not see that the Army is always at their side when they need it”.
The head of the regional executive wondered “what would have happened”. after the DANA if the Valencian Community had a president “of another sign” and contrasted the performance of Sánchez in this crisis with the treatment without discrimination. that he assured that the Government of Madrid gave in the DANA last year in the region to all municipalities, “regardless of the political color of each municipality”.
“We have never done it and we have never been able to do something like this,” Ayuso has remarked, adding that Sanchez is “a floater full of patches” and the communities “we are his obstacle” in his strategy of building a “federal, republican and secular” Spain.
“In reality, this is what for a long time both Sanchez and his mentor Zapatero have been doing on the back of the independentistas and those who hate us deeply”, he added during his speech.
“The important thing will be how each one of us is remembered and I want the people of Madrid and the Community of Madrid to be remembered. as one of their own people who were there and whoWe have been there, either through donations or through any kind of help or through their taxes, as all the people of Madrid have done, we have been there for the people of Valencia, not to take advantage of it as we are seeing that the people of Valencia are not taking advantage of it. the government is never there when it is needed. We have experienced it first hand, we experienced it during the pandemic,” added the regional president.

Ayuso has assured that these days there is talk that “only the people save the people” and respects the demonstrations of those who protest, “but I criticize those who do it in an organized way. behaving like puppies of totalitarian groups.”
