Arantxa Echevarría, director of La Infiltrada, new award-winner at Zaragoza Film Festival

The new edition of the Zaragoza Film Festival, which will start this Thursday, November 21 and will last until November 30, will be attended by distinguished personalities of the cinematographic panorama of the country. One of them is the director Arantxa Echevarría, who has just confirmed her presence at the festival, and who will receive the Augusto Award for A Look at Cinema.

Echevarría joins the rest of the awards of this edition, prior to its 30th anniversary. The recognized award winners will receive their awards on Saturday, November 30 at the Closing Gala, which will be hosted by TVE journalist Moisés Rodríguez and will be held in the Luis Galve Hall of the Zaragoza Auditorium.

Another of the great protagonists will be the actor Andrés Pajareswho will receive the Augusto de Honor, one of the most emotional awards of the festival. Also accepting awards will be actress Natalie Pinot, producers Enrique Cerezo and Amelia Hernández; or directors Sean Mattison and Fernando Colomo, recently awarded by the Directors Association, who will receive the Augusto Ciudad de Zaragoza.

The Augusto Entity will be awarded this year to the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences of Spain, and will be received by its president, Fernando Méndez-Leite, on behalf of the Academy.

Rodrigo Cortés, director of films such as “Buried” and the Spanish-French “Escape”.will also receive an Augusto de Honor for International Projection. Zaragozan director Javier Macipe will receive the Augusto del Corto al Largo; and actors Alberto Ammann and Natalie Pinot will receive the Augusto Apoyo Internacional al Cortometraje and the Augusto Talento con Proyección, respectively.
