Instant presale sell out for the AEWxNJPW Forbidden Door show at the United Center. Less than 40 minutes (mostly because AEW didn’t release every ticket initially) and well over 20,000 people in the queue.

The success of the pre-sale shows the event has strong demand by fans as it will be the first jointly held show by All Elite Wrestling and New Japan Pro Wrestling. KENTA has expressed interest in wrestling CM Punk at this show while Will Ospreay publicly stated he would like to wrestle Kenny Omega.
AEW also had strong first-day ticket sales for the Double Or Nothing pay-per-view in Las Vegas that takes place later this month. For that show, it will be headlined by CM Punk challenging “Hangman” Adam Page for the World Heavyweight Title.
