At the event a hundred olive oil companies from the province of Jaén participated.93 mills and cooperatives and 7 companies related to the cosmetics of the oil and the wood of the olive tree.
According to its organizers, this event “has become a must-attend event and much awaited by both the olive oil sector in Jaén and the tourism sector”.
“Here we show the essence of who we are, of that green blood that runs through the veins of our province, of that liquid gold that distinguishes us and that, today, places us as a benchmark in the production of top quality olive oil,” they added.
In his speech, the presenter emphasized that “it is easy to talk about olive oil and the province of Jaén.not only because of my links with this land, but also because EVOO is the easiest product to sell, as it only needs to be tasted to understand the importance and quality it possesses”.
