The third and last call for training actions of a technological nature that make up the The Wave Plan has been published last Thursday in the Official Gazette of Aragon (BOA). The call consists of a budget of 3,500,000 euros 3,500,000 and is aimed primarily at unemployed workers. The training offered amounts to a total of 582 classroom-based coursesincluding the virtual classroom system, with durations ranging from 20 to 100 hours, in which 7,000 people will participate.
After the first two calls of The Wave Plan published in October, endowed with 8 and 2 million euros respectively, and aimed at employed workers, this last call brings this program to a close. In total, for this year, the subsidies for the development of The Wave have amounted up to 13.5 million euros.
This call will be developed through actions of. Vocational Training of a primarily technological nature from the SEPE’s training catalog, and is financed with funds from the Ministry of Labor and is implemented from the Inaemin collaboration with accredited training centers.
REQUIREMENTS AND SCHOLARSHIPS
These latest training courses are aimed at unemployed workers who represent at least 70% of those who start the courses in this new call. They must be registered as job seekers in the SEPE and the discontinuous permanent employees will be considered as unemployed workers..
Priority for participation will be given to working persons belonging to the following. groupsThe following groups: low-skilled workers, long-term unemployed, people with recognized refugee status, applicants or beneficiaries of international protection, women who have not been in the labor market for five years, and women living in municipalities with less than 3,000 inhabitants. As well as people with disabilities and people in a situation or at risk of exclusion.
The courses, mainly technological, will enable the training of approximately 7,000 participants and will be distributed throughout the whole territory of the Aragonese Community. Likewise, unemployed students may avail themselves of the scholarships and grants established by the Inaem to facilitate access to training. Among these, grants for transportation or grants to reconcile attendance with the care of minors or dependent persons are contemplated.
The training centers and entities collaborating with the Inaem will have a term of five working days to apply for these subsidies. All the courses must be executed until October 18, 2025.
