Rauw Alejandro was the guest of this Wednesday’s El Hormiguero, where he presented his fifth studio album, Cosa Nuestra, which goes on sale on November 15.
“It’s the first time I have a vinyl record in my career and it’s very special. The title of Cosa Nuestra is a phrase that has been on my mind ever since I heard it”, explained the artist.
“This album is made with much love and affection, and has a lot of Puerto Rico, my land, my people, my culture, a lot of Cosa Nuestra“said the guest.
But the Puerto Rican also wanted to send an emotional message to the Valencian people after what happened last week with the DANA that devastated many localities.
“I feel a lot of empathy with them because in Puerto Rico we suffer hurricanes every year. We know what Valencia is going through, and I send a message with all my heart, we are here to support as well,” said the singer.
He went on to say that “the people have to help the people, we have to help ourselves. Neighbors, friendships… we have to be united in these moments”.
“That’s what’s really going to lead to all this happening and everything being fixed. The hard part comes now, with all the reconstruction processes. I lived it in Puerto Rico,” he recalled.
To conclude, Rauw Alejandro pointed out that “the people of Spain and Valencia are in our prayers and that they are counting on us one hundred percent”.
