The DANA which burst last Tuesday in the Valencian Community, one of the largest natural disasters in the history of Spain, continues this Saturday leaving a desolate map in the province of Valencia: 202 dead so far and many missing. In addition, since Friday night there have been access by private vehicles has been restricted to affected municipalities so as not to hinder emergency work.
In the latest official data provided by the public authorities, 202 people have been reported dead, whose bodies have been recovered and are undergoing autopsies. To these people must be added the five victims in events related to the DANA in Castilla-La Mancha and Andalusia, for a total of 207.
In Valencia, for the moment, the forensic doctors have performed since last Wednesday, October 30, and until 9 p.m. this Friday, 162 autopsies of deceased persons at DANA. Of those deceased, 39 are fully identified through fingerprints.
The death toll from the passage of the DANA in the city of Valencia amounts to 13, almost all of them in the neighborhood of La Torreafter a new body was found early yesterday morning in this district. There are no indications that there are more fatalities in the city.

Roads and access
The DANA has forced the public authorities, in particular the Integrated Operational Coordination Center (CECOPI), to restrict the circulation of private vehicles on the following routes access roads to the municipalities most affected by the DANA to facilitate emergency mobilization. The restrictions are in effect from 00:00 hours on Saturday until 23:59 hours on Sunday.
The order agrees to the temporary cessation of mobility on certain roads. except for essential services and companies responsible for guaranteeing the supply of basic services such as water, energy, communications and food distribution.
The roads affected are the accesses and exits to the municipalities from and to the V-31 in its entirety, except the entrance to the city of Valencia; and the accesses and exits to the municipalities from kilometer 0 of the V-30 -the Port- to kilometer 9, which coincides with the accesses to the A-3, in both directions, except at the entrance to Valencia.

Exceptions are also made for required or urgent actions before judicial or notarial public bodies or those of force majeure or situation of necessity. Volunteers
The flip side of the DANA coin is that in the face of a catastrophe of such magnitude, solidarity overflows in the Community. Since Thursday, numerous volunteers have shown up, mostly on foot, in devastated localities to help.
This morning, the Generalitat had summoned volunteers from the city of Valencia to the Ciutat de les Arts at 7 a.m. to be distributed in buses to different areas. Thousands of them were queuing up since 6:45 a.m. and were distributed in 100 buses throughout the day.
The tide of solidarity has been of such magnitude that the Generalitat has issued this Saturday morning a statement warning that there were already enough volunteers for the day and called on the city’s neighbors to help in the coming days.
